The boys sing beautifully, so Christmas is a great opportunity

to use those talents. So nice to have Josh accompany on the

piano while Eric Devin and Dennis sang We Three Kings.

Being able to sing well is a definite plus for a missionary.

Devin got some great mission type music. Some Motab, etc.

And, nice sturdy luggage! Now, if we only knew where he

was going to be taking that luggage!

Thus, the wall map. We are now super prepared to get

that big, white envelope in the mail. The guesses have

been documented carefully with sticky note arrows.

Who will be the closest?

So here's the deal. These two boys just love to be together.

They have fun no matter what they're doing. In fact, if they

are supposed to be getting ready for bed, or some mundane

task like that, they seem to have the MOST fun. Yep, I

think they'll miss one another. But that's a good thing.

By the way, the word is that mission calls come in the

mail on Thursdays or maybe Fridays. Can't wait!

We got the official word tonight that the paperwork

has been sent to Salt Lake. We're looking at two weeks

til the call comes. Oh boy!

Here it is! The long awaited "missionary"

picture. Now we're gettin somewhere in

this process. Looking good, Devin!

Well, we know one thing for sure. If Devin's mission is

out on an island somewhere, he'll be able to maneuver

around by boat if necessary.
